Drenalin

Running:

I wasn't able to get out in the morning as I had hoped. It really was a nice morning. I did get out to run during a late lunch break today. I ran my usual 5 mile route in 36:46. I like to run it a little faster once in a while just to mix it up.

Hunting:

Got my bow out for a couple of shots this morning. This bow was new to me last year. It was my 50th birthday present from my DW. It's a Matthews Drenalin. After trying many different models I went with this one. It just felt right to me. I was able to get two deer last year with it. It felt good to get the rust off and take a few shots. I'll try to get out at least every couple of days for a few more.

Gardening:

Still no rain. Each day it doesn't rain I have so much work to do. I had to spend what little time I had this morning to water the pumpkin patch a little extra as well as all the deck plants. I did notice my first Japanese beetles this morning. I picked several off the pumpkin plants as I was watering them. They destroyed a lot of other things last year, but left the pumpkins alone. I hope they don't take a liking to those now.
